This documentary was the project that started it all! Being from Scotland, with Irish ancestry, I have always been fascinated by the folklore of the UK. All the tales and myths that capture your imagination in today’s world but was very much part of everyday life back then.
I have always wanted to put together a documentary of sorts, but the main thing that I wanted to do was narrate the video myself. The only thing that was holding me back was confidence. I have a Scottish accent, and I thought that would put people off wanting to listen to me. When I reached my mid-30s, I plucked up the confidence to tick this off my bucket list and see what happens.
The response that I got from people complimenting my accent and the video, despite me being a complete amateur, was completely unexpected, so if you are one of those people, thank you. It means a great deal to me!
